Context:
The Military publisher having huge collection of books in their library. They want to add these books into their digital repository.
Intended Outcome:
To digitise the books and convert into OCR PDF & ePub format
To give online access to these books to their subscribers.
The Process:
The books are scanned in UK and uploaded the scanned images to FTP server.
The scanned images were OCR’d and proofread to produce PDF and then into ePub format.
The PDF uploaded in to their digital repository and ePub are published in Amazon other online publishing platforms.
Volume:
1200 books (approx 480k pages)
